OT: Flyers (all team/top starting 5) by Decade(s)

Hey,

I couldn't find this in the search option. I do know we had a discussion on this about the 'all time team' but not broken down into decades (certainly not that I recall - if I am mistaken please add this to that thread?)

So, who do you have in your all decade team(s)?

I'd like to see the lists. Since we came into the NHL in '67 let us put that to start it all off, as well if a player is on the cusp of a decade with the Flyers you can put said player onto the decade team(s) that he belongs if you want:

Kinda of sad that Therien makes the 90s team and Cechmanek makes the 00s team. Pronger may have been shortlived but his impact was so massive its impossible to leave him off for the sake of Coburn.

Therien was a very average defensemen that just complimented Rico well. Cechmanek wasnt here very long. Both show the organizations downfall when it comes to drafting and developing goalies and defensemen throughout the 90s and 00s.

I was thinking Galley too.

Why did we trade him for Svoboda? Does anyone remember the circumstances?

He was putting up huge numbers for a defensemen as a Flyer.

Shouldn't have traded Niinimaa for McGillis either.
