Flyers – Consistently Inconsistent

The problem is that the Flyers have been consistently inconsistent this season. After a slow October and an absolutely shameful November it was clear the team was struggling. Philadelphia hasn’t been able to string together more than a couple wins at a time without backing it up with a losing skid. Just when it looks like the team has turned a corner, they lose against a team that should have been guaranteed points. Unfortunately the only consistent outcome this season seems to be inconsistency.

I don't get it. What's the point in this article? People who post on this board know all of this already. You'd be better off posting this on the main board maybe, where there might be some who are less familiar with the Flyers woes.

Flyers have been this way for yrs. I remember when it was Richards fault, then coaching, then the players again. IMO its a sign of a mediocre team with some good players.

After 60 some games we are a bit more inconsistent than Boston and Florida. And if Ottawa picked up 5 points in 4 games, they would be tied with us, more than 5 and then they would be less inconsistent than us. That only describes teams trying for the 8th wildcard spot. So us flyer fans need to know why, and a large amount would say coaching.

Mediocre teams are inconsistent and don't always play 60 mins because they simply can't since they have the wrong mix of personnel. Our D corps is an abomination...thanks to the dry drunk Holmgren...
