Fowler - While his production has decreased slightly, he remains a late 20's top four defender. Would be looking for futures here as the motivation for moving him is cap related.
Miller - Didn't have a strong first season with Buffalo of the NHL. Has one year left on his deal in the HFNHL. Could be a good buy low candidate for someone in hopes that he bounces back. Asking price is not high.
O'Connor - Crunched against the roster cap, this younger checking line player with the NHL's Avalanche looks like a future NHL player. I just don't know if I have the room for him. Asking price is not high.
Petan - While his likelihood of becoming an NHL regular seems less likely every year, he still tears up the AHL and is a good buy low candidate. Petan has a year left on his HFNHL deal, can be played on a bottom line (with useable ratings) and the cost would be a late round selection.
