Florida is looking at making a pure "hockey deal" to see if a minor shake up can jump start my team to a bit more success (although we have looked better lately).
Have tons of cap room to play with, so that's not an issue.
Essentially looking at moving a depth piece for a different depth piece (3rd liners, 2nd/3rd pairing defenders). If need be, I could add if the piece I'm getting back is a slightly bigger fish. Again, can also take on salary if need be.
Here are some options:
Brian Boyle (70SC, 77DF, 80CK) or Dominic Moore (76DF, 87FO, 64SC) for a forward with a relatively high DF, but more playmaking in nature (higher PA than SC).
Lee Stempniak (74PA, 72SC, 79CK) for a forward with a higher DF at the expense of lower offensive ratings.
Josh Gorges (90DF, 87CK) for a defender with slightly more offensive ratings but still a decent DF.
Matt Hunwick (60PA, 86DF) for a more elite DF defender.
