Mailloux got tested on his first shift, he and his D partner were too far apart and it led to a bit of a 2 on 1 but Mailloux played it well.

1-0 London. Mailloux made a good play in his own end and then they went up ice and scored.

Mailloux is looking a bit rusty on defense, which is obviously to be expected. His mobility and reach allows him to stay active though.

Mailloux with the near dangle, pulled a bit of a Norlinder as he was up too high so he looked like he was playing forward in his own end, not sure what he was doing there but then the puck came lose and he skated it out and almost broke through the 2 D with a dangle.

Mailloux decided he'd rather be a forward for a shift It almost led to a nice play for him. You can see he likes to have the puck.

Well, he's big and can skate well in all directions. He's already showed some pretty nice crosses & mohawks to move around the net. 1st shift had to defend a 2 on 1, and played it well.

Made a couple of errors rimming the puck along the boards. Both times teammates weren't there. They were changing, but he hustled and got puck back.

he poked at the puck and missed, led to a break on goal there but his goalie bailed him out.

He skates back quite well, he's got a good, powerful stride in all directions. Mobility won't be a problem with him, that's for sure.

First period went well. He's as advertised big & can skate with very good mobility and footwork. He's already showed some nice crosses, mohawks and quick turns.

Made a couple mistakes putting the puck up the boards to nobody because his teammates were changing, but that's to be expected.

Generally played conservative except for one drive towards the net & a weird shift where he seemed to be playing wing, which worked out for him.
