Flames Lose 3-2

Bryce Van Brabant looked okay in his Flames debut. He only played 5:36. There was one play were he turned over the puck on the offensive blueline when he had lots of time to just dump it in, the Leafs almost scored from that turnover. His first game though. He looked confident out there though and had a couple hits.

The Flames played well at times but also sloppy. A lot of young players in the lineup including Chad Billins on D. I don't see Kevin Westgarth back next year either.

I thought Karri Ramo played well even though he only faced 22 shots.

Nice goal by Kris Russel and Matt Stajan too.

Joe Colborne with another assist, his 17th of the season.

With only 6 games left in the season now the Flames are probably just enjoying this roadtrip as the team will be quite different next year.

I don't think Buffalo or Edmonton will win the lottery to be honest.

Of course, this is just a guess and you never know with the lottery.

Funny how both Edmonton and Florida owners ripped off the taxpayers to fund the new arenas. I think Bettman gives it to Florida though.

How many top picks does Florida need? It seems like they finish bottom 3 every year.

They've only had 3 in the last few years. Otherwise they've had fairly middling picks.
