But guys! If you take out Nylander's points against bad teams he hardly has any points! He must be a huge bust!!!!!

Gardiner is probably the best skater on the Leafs, yes even better than Rielly. Not including just speed, overall Gardiner is better

He's better on his edges making him very elusive and slippery. The best D men on the Leafs by far making checkers miss. Reilly is the better power skater straight away speed.

Gards just loves those figure skating inspired leg, shoulder and head fakes.

Hey all. Curious about something.

Is it just me, or is this Russian ref the worst ref, positionally, ever?

He's blocked a couple shots from the half-boards because he keeps standing on the faceoff dots, gotten into multiple player's paths on the forecheck/cycle and he seems to always follow the puck instead of distancing himself from it.

If the Leafs are smart they start getting some tough guys. One of these days one of our young gems with get hit and well go crazy for no one standing up for the hit

we should just make the league non contact

The ref in the Rangers game today nearly cut off Lundqvist's arm, so... he's got some competition.

He was definitely helping the Leafs out on that Calgary 5 on 3. He skated out almost to the slot blocking the Flames trying to make a play.:D

That is why we have to temper the enthusiasm of Kadri hitting Gaudreau. We are not equipped for a rough game.

you know how players transition from KHL sized rinks to NHL rinks... refs have to do the same thing. plus that tj luxmore rookie ref almost sliced lundqvist's hand off.

Amazing how that one guy tried to criticize skating calling it figure skating like it's a bad thing.

One of the best things you could do for your kid growing up to play the game is have him/her take figure skating lessons. Master your edges and that's 50% of the battle won right there.

Would have taken Nick Ritchie - Don Cherry

Nylander scored more points in one game than Ritchie did in 30 games. Lol

Danm, i love the puck poise.. Like how he tries to look to make a play rather than go for an easy shot where the goalie would make a save 99% of the time. This is very very different feeling.
