He played like he was terrified every single game. Just flying around with zero confidence. Did he score one goal in the playoffs? Pretty sure it was none in the reg season. Or almost none.

It's not particularly surprising either, they used to do celebrity softball games in Lethbridge in the summer vs the firefighters and Vernie missed the one I went to because he was in rehab. It's amazing how much more honest players were before social media because it was Al MacInnis that told me.
