Bottom 10 if not 5 prospect pool easily with our graduates and Fox leaving. Glad we kept the pick this year and drafted Pelletier. I don't think we can afford to deal many more picks going forward unless you guys like Young Guns.

Can’t believe they left you off again @Corpus X
I touched a bewbie without permission and I was escorted far away from camp.

I COULD HAVE BEEN A STAR! #MeNope

You should be there for the beer dividends. "Here's a beer for you. Here's a beer for you." Everyone loves those people and it's totally a thing.

*** July 4th edit - WTF was I thinking here. This post was written on a drinking night. FYI ***

Watched the dev scrimmage this morning.
Stand outs.

Petterssen- He’s quick and off transition made a lot of guys look flat footed. His compete was surprising for a lighter guy. In close the puck sticks to him and below the hash marks he looked like an elite goal scorer. Seeing that he was second in scoring for all fresh man in NCAA last year, this guy is looking bright. By far the best player today. Hes number three behind vali and Dube in my opinion.

Phillips- hes crafty and makes his line makes look better. You noticed every time he was on the ice (not just because he’s small) because he made something happen in the offensive zone.

Zagidulin- don’t think he let a single goal in during play or shootout? Very calm and looked “wide”. He fills the net our good and not a lot of movement.

Popisil- he plays like a jerk. Potential as a 4th liner if he puts on 15lbs

For guys that had a rough go..

Pelletier- I didn’t see much of a compete.. he didn’t stand out unless I was looking for his number or Phillips was dishing him passes. I hope things turn around

Wolf- he was burnt alot.

Wouldn’t worry about Pelletier or wolf given it’s a dev camp as both were just drafted and were among the youngest players at camp this year. I’m sure they’ll be a lot better next year. Good to hear that Pettersen is doing well. He’s looking to be an absolute steal in the 6th rd.

Pelletier was supposedly one of the best players in camp yesterday and its summer camp I wouldn't worry about it.

So did Phillips step it up finally?

What do you mean? It was his first pro year, he's ripped apart the juniors, and he had a pretty respectable stat line given his size, rookie status and played largely third line for a Heat team that was a tire fire, and was one of the stronger players at this development camp.

That's what I'm asking. Did he step up in this development camp.

Is there really that much hype? Its just one of the prospects i followed and did research on for our own drafts and I really like everything about him as far as a late first round pick goes.

It just sounds like many on this board this guy could be a huge sleeper and has lots of potential. I think best case scenario, he projects to be a 3rd line C.
