AHL move. Gillies was supposed to travel with the team to Texas this weekend but with how offensively inept the Heat are they can't afford for Simpson and Hartzell to play, they are ECHL goaltenders at best. Poulin will be good for the Heat in the short term and will be good for Gillies long term.

I like it, Poulin chainsaws are amongst the best on the market.

No complaints. Poulin has had some standout performances in the QMJHL and AHL, and sometimes goalies take a while to find that degree of consistency as a professional. Literally, there is zero risk to the deal.

When I was in to collecting cards, I actually stocked up on a couple of his rookie cards a few years back because I thought he was under the radar.
