That game was the definition of getting stifled. The Jets were strong defensively.

Our defensemen suck at offense

The fall of Giordano couldnt have come at a worse time lol. Literally every other core piece and our goaltending improved as he falls off a cliff. Also, our bottom 6 is trash.

He’s not the biggest problem. The second item on your list is probably it rn.

Didn't have the legs in this one and didn't deserve to win it. Top line actually looked alright. Johnny wasn't at his best. Rittich played well after the first but that second goal was ugly.

That SHG was especially bad. I mean ya Looch dumb giveaway but then the entire team just watches a guy curl into our zone and gives up the slot to the trailer? They're not starting on their toes and it's costing them points.

Yeah, we're playing alright overall, but spotting the opposition a couple of goals against the run of play every game is not a winning strategy.

Somebody else is coaching?
Wards a rookie coach, I think he has some agenda's pushed on him. Obviously you want Lucic to look as good as possible on the score sheet, with the up coming expansion but you have to have a backup plan, in case the price is too high.

They have not given a full 60 mins yet...either get going after down a couple goals or relax after scoring a couple goals

Wards is saying they are still in training camp....you all wait, we will be a beast when we got all this figured out by playoffs time.

Lol, kinda I guess. Move your soon to be 32 year old center, who just happens to have a very similar cap hit to Lucic, away from last years leading scorer. At first you can see the logic, wanting to elevate Tkachuk's game but he isn't shining and its clear he's more comfortable with Backs. Dispite Lindy looking good with the kids, he's still very reluctant to put the 3M line together.

Another thing to bring up has been just how awful our "depth" has been so far. Between Leivo, Lucic, Ryan, Nordstrom, Simon, Backlund, Mangiapane, and Bennett you have 12 pts with 66 games between them and well over 15 million buckaruuuus as well.

Yikes. You have to wonder what's going to happen to Brad at this point... these are all his guys at this point.

You can add Bennett to the list too, he just isn't a top 6 player.

I’d argue it looks like we have two top 6 forwards right now. Gaudreau and Monahan are the only ones actually playing particularly well despite Lindholm and Tkachuk putting up some points

To put it another way, Chris Tanev has as many or more points than Mangiapane, Bennett, Leivo, Simon, Nordstrom and Ryan. He has two points including a goal from center ice.

That's ugly.
