yeah, pending the Flames winning tonight and next, Winnipeg has to lose both their final games in regulation for the Flames to get in.

Who knows what the lineups for Colorado and Minnisota even look like for the final two games against Nashville and Winnipeg. Do they sit guys or do they try and fight for that top Central spot instead?

Imagine missing the playoffs because the worst team in the league (Chicago) beat you all THREE times this year. They also lost both meetings against Montreal who blows. Lost to Anaheim in our barn like a week and a half ago in a must win game.

Struggling to score goals and the coach puts the same struggling lineup out expecting different results.

Calgary is 9-4-3 over their last 16, a 108 point pace. They’ve scored 3.5 goals per game over that stretch

Last 5 games we are 3-1-1, and have scored 3.6 goals per game.

Those goal rates would be 6th and 3rd over the course of the year league wide respectively. Neither thing you said is true.

Winnipeg just got hot at exactly the right time when we are trying to catch them (winning 5 of their last 6, scoring over 4 goals a game). It was the 1st quarter and 3rd quarter of this season that tanked us if you’re looking to lay blame.
