I think Cooley will have seen the travesty of a Blackhawks broadcast where they were flashing a goal tracker graphic up saying "GRETZKY: 894, BEDARD: 1" and think, "Yeah, man, I'm gonna steal his thunder."

At least I hope he does, because if I have to sit through a season where the league and its broadcasters so obviously and relentlessly fellate Connor Bedard, I might actually not want to watch any games on TV.
