FIRST GOAL GAME: CANES VS RANGERS 11-2-23

Scoring will be as follows
Top 9 Forward - 2 points
4th line and defenseman 3 points
Assist on the 1st goal 1 point
Assist include primary and secondary
And it's the line the player starts on that will determine if they are top 9 or not.
I’m going to ask for everyone to keep an eye on the points and help,me out but I think this will make the game a little more interesting

Imo, puck drop should be a hard and fast deadline for a valid pick (that's the standard I applied to myself when I was looking for ways to get my pick in when my internet went out a couple games ago). While I can appreciate the perspective that if nothing of note has happened yet, posting a pick a few minutes after puck drop should be ok, I could see potential gray areas and disputes without a hard and fast rule. Puck drop eliminates any chance of the happening. Having said that, that's just my opinion and not a hill I'd want to die on, lol. I'll defer to whatever the contest administrator decides.

edit: just saw that Mikey posted while I was typing this, seems like puck drop it is.
