Man, the CBC commentators and the officials could not have been more wrong. If the puck is sitting on the mesh, it guarantees that the puck is at the same level or below the crossbar, because the mesh gets weighed down by the puck and water bottle. The only way it could be above would be if it was a solid sheet which rested on top of the crossbar, but it's a mesh which hangs from the middle. Terrible call.

Man Sutter really needs to let DD off his leash and do his thing, if he played for a team like Philly he would be a 70pt dman.

Kind of a frustrating game to watch, we carried the play for 80% of the game. Finland is so defensive and Rask had a dominant performance. That game on paper should not have even been close. Anyways, good learning experience for our team, that game will really help them going forward. Price played well when challenged, you can't fault him for letting in that deflection. Our defence is so darn impressive, I really believe that is the strength of this team. Doughty, Petro, Weber and Keith are all Norris level dman and they play like it. Doughty is really standing out though, his spin-o-rama in the offensive zone was awesome and he makes it look so easy, what a talented player.
