Hi guys,

So I'm thinking of buying this Selanne replica Finland jersey from SportsK. I just wondered though, is it a replica of one he actually wore when playing for Team Finland?? If so when did he wear it, or is this just a generic Team Finland jersey but with Selanne's name on the back.

It roughly replicates the model in use in WHCs since 2010. But since last time Selänne played in said competition was in 2008, I think no, he's never worn that particular one.

It is close to the one he used in Vancouver 2010, but as you can see, that one had the heritage "Finland" logo due to IOC restrictions rather than the regular FIHA one.

So yeah, it's pretty generic. If you want a model he's actually worn at some point or other, you'll have to keep looking.

Generic. No official jersey Finland has ever worn has "SUOMI" written on the backside.
