I happened to notice the 13 assists Wilf Paiement had with his 26 goals for the 74-75 KC Scouts, and got me to wondering what are the fewest assists by a 20-goal scorer? Or for those of you who are good with stats, break it down into categories, i.e. 20-25 goals, 26-30 goals, 31-35, 36-40, etc.

Here's a complete list: http://www.hockey-reference.com/pp/...omp=gt&c4val=&order_by=assists&order_by_asc=Y

All the top guys are from the twenties and thirties weren't given out as easily as they are today, if you go by modern era you'll find Wayne Bianchin with 28 goals and 6 assists in 76-77.

Just decided to revise your list (that player season finder is great, eh!?) to give a list of 1967-present. Simply because I don't remember exactly when assists, let alone secondary assists, started being counted reliably/consistently.

23g 11 assist.

Which is really insane since he's a d-man. I remember Gonchar having a similar season around the same time, 21 goals and 10 assists. You very rarely see d-men score more goals than assists, let alone more than double their assist total.

Johan Franzen scored 27 goals, but only 11 assists in 07-08.

Come to think of it, in his four year career thus far, he's only had more assists than goals in a single season once (06-07, when he had 10 goals and 20 assists).
