Strange callup considering Fistric will joinin shortly.. Why call him up when Potter and Teubert are already up.

Hopefully this is Fedun's break. If I recall correctly, he looked very good last training camp before the big injury. He seems like an awesome guy too.

Sutton is out for the season. Peckham is hurt. They made it clear they want to start the season with 8 d-men.
Smid-Petry
Schultz-Schultz
Whitney-Fistric
Potter-Fedun

Fedun's got a nod over Teubert. it's up to him to take advantage of it. If not, he will be going back to the AHL as soon as Peckham gets back to health.

I heard Kreuger say the other day that he wants to have 14 forwards and 7 defenseman. Fedun is only here for training camp.

We could work with these pairs, nice matchups.God would Yakupov and gagner ever light it up with this setup, they would definately need MPSs defensive awareness and speed to back up J Schultzes elite pressure upice,I mean REALLY need MPS there with those wheels to get back and long stick and reach.

Whitney hitting Smyth with the long bomb passes and saving the old legs some wear and tear, perfect.

And Potter and Fedun might add some offense of their own when they can.

We are looking for mistake free this year not intangible impact,we need dependable and predictable d-men with as much calmness and focus to their games as we can muster.

We can load up with muscle and toughness for next years full schedule, any team who tries to muscle or fight their way through this years shortened schedule will be gassed by the halfway point. This is going to have to be a very fast and steady pull. And injuries will be more common than usual.

They must be using scarecrows by now in OKC with all these training camp callups.

Come to think of it, scarecrows couldn't do much worse than the team they have down there. :)

I think you've gotta give him a chance in training camp to show him that the team believes in him and appreciates his vigilance in rehabbing from that injury.
