Maybe someone could help me out here, or give em their opinion. There is a hockey pool at work, for the World Cup, and just for a dark horse I decided to pick Ovechkin. Now is he going to get much ice time? Or does anyone tihnk he'll even get any points? We were allowed to pick any 20 and here is what I picked:

In these types of things going with a darkhorse or two is not a bad idea... as there are a lot of players that everyone will take. A German like Sturm or Hecht might have made a good darkhorse, even though they will only play 4 games.

I think you took too many Canadians. You missed Naslund, and some top players for the Czechs. Koivu or Jokinen could have made a good choice too.

Or I could be talking out of my ass and you may win it. Who knows. Good luck!

take koivu and or selanne...they both play really well in int. hockey and finland will most likely play for a medal....
