When I went to college, the FB and Basketball team's locker rooms were locked.

I'm guessing someone on staff unlocked doors and let "professional" video to be recorded in lockerroom.

I feel the only persons that should be in trouble is the rapper in question and his representatives.

Maybe find out who unlocked the facility and deal with that person as well. Shutting down the program seems harsh.

Looks like it’s the coach who made the call.

Being in the middle of summer, this is effectively a collective punishment which has the players sitting in dorms twiddling their thumbs when they ought to be working out and doing summer practices. My guess is it’s only for this week, to send a message going into the season.
