Who is the player you would consider his team's "face of the franchise" player the most? List them for each team. I'll try:

Anaheim: Getzlaf
Arizona: Ekman-Larsson
Boston: Chara (HM: Rask, Marchand)
Buffalo: Eichel
Calgary: Gaudreau
Carolina: Aho
Chicago: Kane (HM: Toews)
Colorado: MacKinnon
Columbus: Foligno (HM: Jones)
Dallas: Benn (HM: Seguin)
Detroit: Larkin (HM: Howard?)
Edmonton: McDavid
Florida: Barkov
Los Angeles: Doughty (HM: Kopitar, Quick)
Minnesota: Koivu (HM: Parise)
Montreal: Price
Nashville: Rinne (HM: Josi, Forsberg)
New Jersey: Hall
NY Islanders: Barzal (HM: Lee)
NY Rangers: Lundqvist
Ottawa: errm... Anderson?
Philadelphia: Giroux
Pittsburgh: Crosby
San Jose: Burns (HM: Karlsson, Couture)
St. Louis: Pietrangelo (HM: Tarasenko, O'Reilly)
Tampa Bay: Stamkos (HM: Kucherov, Hedman)
Toronto: Matthews (HM: Tavares, Marner)
Vancouver: Boeser (HM: Edler)
Vegas: Fleury (HM: Marchessault, Karlsson)
Washington: Ovechkin
Winnipeg: Wheeler (HM: Scheifele)

...was harder than I thought. To me the "face of the franchise" is the player you associate the most with his team. For example, when I think "Washington Capitals" I see Alex Ovechkin.

What's your list and what definition of "FotF" did you use?

Only change would be Minnesota to Suter

And for Ottawa I'd make it their 2020 1st rounder XD XD XD

I’d say Landeskog is up there with MacK for the Avs. Captain, longer tenure, the go to for a good interview even during rocky times in franchise history. Plus have you seen the man’s face?! Made to be plastered all over ads and TV.

Do you even follow jokes?

Ahhh, sorry lol.

This + your post history convinced me you don't even watch hockey, but at least this one can be knocked off the stupid shit you've said list.

My bad.

It's okay sarcasm doesn't travel digitally, so I get why you didn't fully understand my joke. Maybe one day I'll go through somebodys post history and tell them they don't watch hockey. haha that would be really stupid

There’s a bunch I’d change in the OP, only ones unconventional are Gibson for Anaheim and Chabot for Ottawa. Both I would say are the best players on their teams currently and attempting to carry a bunch of crap on their backs. If this were a few years ago before I thought Gibson wasn’t one of the best goalies in the league and Chabot hadn’t emerged then I’d go with Getzlaf and Anderson (out of the players currently on their rosters).

Most of the ads for the Canucks have Petterson front and center. I don’t think there’s really any question that he’s the face of the franchise now.
