Compared to how great he looked in camp in the fall, I thought maybe he'd produce bigger numbers in Milwaukee this year. But I think people should not panic that he hasn't... he did look really good and he has all the tools, great size and shot. If it takes him an extra year in Milwaukee to fully break out, that's ok.

He’s playing better than his raw numbers indicate. Creates his own shot, hustles on the forecheck and backcheck, and still has a nasty shot-release.

He will probably get his NHL debut at some point this season. His numbers in the AHL still aren't quite as good as we've expected based on watching him in training camps. But he seems to have the size, strength, a fairly mature game, he looks like he could belong. The lack of scoring so far makes it a bit up in the air whether that will ultimately be as more of a bottom-6er though. He flashes the scoring ability like last night, but hasn't done it with any consistency yet. Everything else seems to be there.
