F Peter Repcik - Team Slovakia U18 (2022 Draft)

Peter really surprises me this season. He can establish himself among men, yes it is only a lower Slovak men's league, but that league is certainly not worse than the best junior leagues. Pretty strong center, decent bully. He has very good edgework and agility. He also works hard. He needs to strengthen. I have no idea if he will pass the draft, but he has made good progress in the last six months and if he continues to progress, he could go in the lower rounds (5.-7.)

I’m not sure, I think it would be great option that helps take his skills to next level. He’s got the skating, hustle, and physical play to be a good player in the WHL. Also helps that he seems to be a very hard worker
From what I know, he is still undecided, but he has thought about it. Peter goes to try-out in one club in the top tier Slovak men's league, and probably if he doesn't get a spot in the roster, he will go to the WHL
Heard his agent tried super hard to place him with a team, so I’m sure he’ll report.
I think it will be better for him to move to CHL. I am not sure whether he is already prepared for pro hockey

Only 2 U18 tournaments matters. Hlinka- Gretzky cup and IIHF Div.1 WC. We should be in full strength at Hlinka and we should win U18 WC even if we miss some key player/s because of playoffs.

Think about it another way. Now guys like Jencko, Sotek and others will get larger role with the U18 project. Maybe even some 2006 borns get drawn in.

4 point game for Repcik in HGC game against USA. He can fit wherever you want in the lineup. He lets Mesar and Slafkovsky be more daring because of how responsible he is with 2 way play.

What a tournament so far for Repcik. 8 points in 4 games and has surely put some scouts on notice. I see a successful season in Lethbridge and a potential to compete for a spot on WJC bottom 6.

Im surprised with his performance. Sometimes he is invisible, but then he makes a top defense play, then something in front of the net... Really curious, how will he do in WHL.

Lethbridge training camp begins today. Peter is on Team Blue and will play 2 scrimmage games today. Pre season begins on the 17th. Also, title can be updated @hockey2015

He’s been really good in the exhibition matches at Lethbridge camp. His teams offense essentially runs through him as seen by results of day 1 and 2. Here’s day 2: ENMAX Training Camp – Day 2 Recap – Lethbridge Hurricanes. He has assisted on or scored almost all of his teams goals. Potentially 1C for Lethbridge this year?

So far his season from a stats standpoint has been very disappointing. However, I watched last nights game vs Regina and he was all over the ice and had several very good scoring chances where the Regina goalie had to make a big save. I still think his chances of the draft are fading. Maybe he can make a push for a WJC roster spot.

Indeed, I still have hope for him, he was so good at HGC. Never found his groove in WHL. It’s strange, I thought Repcik would have a lot of success while Demek would have very little
