Thought this kid seemed interesting. Made the cutoff by 2 days, so he is one of (if not) the youngest players in this draft class. Had similar production in Minnesota HS hockey as Mittelstadt in his draft year, but did not produce much in the USHL. Committed to play at Notre Dame in 2019-2020.

He has grown! 6'1"....wonder if he'll get as tall as his brother. Didn't realize he was so young.

He was a junior in HS this year so he won't be in South Bend next year.

Great vision and a real knack for making plays in the offensive zone. Up towards the top with assists in Minnesota high school.

Simply from stat-watching he seems like an intriguing prospect, anyone who follows Minnesota HS hockey have any insight?

Currently projected for late 3rd-early 4th, which seems surprising with the production he had this year.

Taken in the 4th round by the Ducks. Has anyone watched him this season? He missed the draft cutoff by only 2 days so he may be the youngest player in the draft, and his production in the Minnesota high school circuit is only a couple points off from what Casey Mittelstadt had in his draft year (Casey outscored his next highest teammate by 19 however, Jack by 10). Eliteprospects has him committed to Notre Dame for next year. Has anyone seen him play that can comment on him?

Some rumors he's flipping to Minnesota like Ranta just did. His bro committed to Motzko at SCSU. Maybe he would transfer, too, after a year at Jan Brady State.

If his brother was going to MN...he never would have come to SCSU in the 1st place.

Probably true and that's fine since we'll be getting the better one. Thanks again for your coach he's great so far!

Very low point production last year into nearly half of this year and now has exploded by moving up with top line talent around him. A couple other Minnesotans will do the same when the time comes.

Can anyone tell me more about him?
I have coached him and known him since he was a little kid. He can absolutely take over a game. Great hands and vision. Tough and plays with an edge. Scored 75+ goals as a Bantam and started as a freshman in H.S. for a highly ranked MN H.S. team. He is the real deal and will begin to shine now that he has moved up to the 1st line.

Just didn't do anything special in junior in his 18 year old season and that translated to low NCAA production. Anaheim probably drafted him a couple rounds too early.
