All items in cars are subject to federal regulation, including infant car seats.

But what might have been appropriate 40 years ago to prevent flames from a cigarette or matches, now seems ludicrous as "how" fires work in cars, the Pejorative Slurant in the foam would not prevent injury/death from the flames (the size/scope of flames would not face much resistance if it reached the car seat). (And 98% of folks in car accident injuries or death are too old to be in a car seat.)

And that required Pejorative Slurant was mandated out of children's pajamas years ago.

But so many families use a car seat for much more than that.

A concern. :amazed: :shakehead
