Tkachuk probably still isn’t completely 100%, but still playing well and creating chances. Goals just aren’t going in for him. Our PP also sucks which isn’t helping.

As much as I hate playing against Tkachukles, there's no denying he brings a lot more than just points for the team he plays for. From what I've seen this year he hasn't had the hot hands he had last year, but he's absolutely a factor in almost any game.

I've watched a couple of cats games, it seems I've chosen some poor games because he has been largely invisible. From what I've watched, the biggest reason I can think of for his cratering shooting % is because of his shot selection on the powerplay. The strategy seems to be "try to have a rebound kick into the crease" which has resulted in a lot of unscreened shots from bad angles on the half-wall. Even then 4% looks pretty unlucky. Maybe I'm not just watching the right games.
