We basically all did better in our expansion mock draft than Francis did.
I think a collective hivemind here on the HFBoards could have done just as well with a mock draft.
Capfriendly shows that the Kraken have ~$29 in cap space though so there's plenty of money left for a stab at Eichel/Landeskog etc.

They had an exclusive period to negotiate with UFAs, I highly doubt Eichel or Landeskog would want to go on a bottom feeding team
Especially Eichel after playing on a rebuilding team in his entire career.
Maybe Landeskog since UFA....but I'm not sure they enough to trade for Eichel

Subban and Price for starters. Instead they went with Bastian and Cale FlueryWho were the best players not picked by the Kraken? I didn't follow the protected lists very closely.
Kraken expansion draft war room:
you could literally build a playoff team with the players not selected. Tarasenko, Johansen, Voracek, Price, Domi, Drouin, etc..Who were the best players not picked by the Kraken? I didn't follow the protected lists very closely.

Money the same reason players largely go anywhereWhy would Eichel or Landeskog go to Seattle when they have better options?
Not the adjective I’d have given them, but whatever.Mighty Ducks?!
