At least Mittens plays north-south, and put himself into scoring positions twice today. 2 shots, good chances. 2 good saves.

Burmistrov did none of that. Never got into position. 0 shots. In fact Burmi has had 1 shot total...in his last 5 games.

Mittens is no superstar but at least he drives to the scoring areas and gives himself a chance to score. Basic hockey sense. Which some other notable players need to develop. You need to get over 2 things. One is the Mittens hate. The other is your Burmi man-crush.
