So, I just decided to make a mock draft, so... tell me what you think!
1. Edmonton Oilers - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
The Oilers will find that RNH will be too hard to pass up on. Taylor Hall and him will make a deadly pair in the near future.
2. Colorado Avalanche - Gabriel Landeskog
The Avalanche are stacked up at center, and Landeskog brings the whole package - leadership, scoring, defensive play, contact.
3. Florida Panthers - Jonathan Huberdeau
The Panthers are desperately in need of some top-line talent, and Huberdeau has great upside. He will definately one day make a big impact in Florida.
4. New Jersey Devils - Adam Larsson
The Devils will be ecstatic that Larsson managed to fall all the way down to them, as they are in need of a difference maker in defense.
5. New York Islanders - Dougie Hamilton
The Islanders have a plethora of young talent up front, so they will need to start stocking up at the back-end. Dougie Hamilton has size and offensive upside, and will add alot of talent to the Islanders' blueline.
6. Ottawa Senators - Sean Couturier
The Sens are rebuilding, and while Couturier might not have as much offensive upside as some of the other players, he brings the whole package. He will be ready soon to help the Senators get back on their feet.
7. Winnipeg ??? - Ryan Strome
Winnipeg doesn't really have one specific need, and Strome is the best player available, so they will go with him.
8. Columbus Blue Jackets - Ryan Murphy
One thing the Blue Jackets have always been looking for is a good offensive defenseman, and they may have just found him in Ryan Murphy.
9. Boston Bruins - Nathan Beaulieu
The Bruins are stacked at offense, but not so much at defense. Beaulieu will add some presence at the back end for Boston.
10. Minnesota Wild - Mika Zibanejad
Zibanejad is a slick two-way forward that any team would love to have. He's more NHL-ready than most players available in the draft, and the Wild could use him.
