I believe that former Winnipeg Jet Jerry Butler was also a U of M student back in the day.

Jerry Bulter! I remember him, think it was the first hockey magazine I ever read, article about him in New York, said despite the "choir boy look", he was scrappy as hell. Butler himself said, "I grew up playing a lot of lacrosse, it was a real hackers league, everybody trying to do the other guy a whack over the head!"
