I agree that the #3 should be on the best player possible, in an ideal world we would trade with Rangers but Kotka will probably be taken by the Wings who are high on him as well.

For all the crap Ottawa is dealing with right now, having Zadina fall to them seems nice.

I've seen some people speculating that Zadina drops even further as some D-men are taken ahead of him, but I can't see that happening.

In my opinion, Montreal should just take him at 3 or trade to 5th - no lower. Don't risk losing the guy you want by trading down further than that.

Yeah it doesn’t seem like patience is a virtue up in Montreal.

A lot of us fans want it but alas Bergevin would not go for it as he likely would not be around long after. Not sure Molson w0uld go for it either as he is all about the money in his bank account and less about the quality of the game on the ice. As long as he has butts in the seats and is making money, he does not seem to care much.
