We have a week off for international matches, but I'm making this now so I don't forget later. After four matchweeks, only one team remains perfect - Man City. Meanwhile, two teams are yet to pick up points, although it must be said that these two teams did have a match between them postponed. Matchweek 5 features some fun matches: surprise top 4 contender West Ham hosts Man City, while Man United hosts Brighton and Newcastle hosts Brentford, as teams from last year's top 4 look to get back on track. Elsewhere, potential relegation six pointers abound, with Bournemouth hosting Chelsea and Burnley traveling to Forest.

LFC do seem to have that first game after the international break quite a bit. Early and away too. But it’s a big chance to pick up 3 points that they didn’t get last year. Quansah might have to start with Konate banged up and still no word on if Virgil getting extended suspension. Could be interesting

I would like to see Gabriel - Saliba again for Arsenal.

Preferable, but who knows what happens during international break… Would also like a way better performance this season at Everton. Last season was a real stinker. Probably our worst game.

One of the biggest letdowns of last year. Everton is already in fight for survival mode, they will be desperate for a result.

It's probably in United's best interest he doesn't play anyway given how horrid he's been. But yeah, ETH is the one who pushed for his ridiculous transfer fee, so I imagine they're gonna cling on to feeding him minutes.
ETH also pushed for Greenwood to stay, so it’s not like he gives a shit about things like this

Copying Arsenal.

What's next? You going on some obscure and bizarre forum to try and dig into the personal lives of victims like you did with Greenwood?

Only one more day.

Hope to see Brennan Johnson tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how he does in Ange's high-possession system. Quite the difference from how Cooper sets Nottingham up. But clearly Ange thinks he'll be a great fit.

Liverpool in the early game tomorrow. Their record in the early game following the international break is terrible. Since 2015, this is the 12th (or 13th, might have counted wrong) time that they have been scheduled to play in the early game immediately following the international break.

This is double the next most frequently scheduled teams (Chelsea and Tottenham), triple Man City and quadruple Arsenal. Utd have 5. They are also the early game after the international break in October, and probably will be the early game after the international break again in November.

Yes it’s a lousy time slot that someone has to play in. Yes it’s on LFC to find a way to improve in those games. But why have they played at that time so much more than everybody else, and why isn’t it spread across more evenly.

Just some food for thought above.

No Trent, but Konate may be back. All the South American players got back late (and Alexis played at altitude) so they are all late fitness checks, except Alisson. Going to be a tougher game than people expect, and the schedule is still very difficult. Keeping the momentum going would be ideal. Also a chance to pick up 3 points that were dropped last year

Clearly the league is conspiring against Liverpool again with this scheduling...

No one said conspiracy. Just looking at the data. If you would like to point out any lies, please do so.

Now say it again without crying.

I'll be honest, I used to think it a grossly exaggerated fact that all Liverpool fans ever do is complain about discrimination

It's funny out of all those 'preview' shows they do on "Premier League TV", the best one is the fantasy one lol and I don't even play fantasy. Other ones are just filled with fluff.

Anyways boring list of fixtures this weekend outside maybe ManU vs Brighton plus usual slog after bullshit intl break.
