Yeah I just posted this on the season thread. Hopefully it just stung but knowing the Blues luck it'll be something that keeps him out for the next month.

I mean at this point all I can do is lol...**** is beyond ridiculous, hope this is simply a precaution and he is good to go for playoffs. "Nilsson, come on down! You're the next contestant on 'Blues Players get Injured!'"

If Nilsson starts in the playoffs, would that mean the Blues went into the playoffs the last 5 years with 5 different starters?

Halak
Elliott
Miller
Allen
Nilsson

The team couldn't stand to see Hitch getting off without making a tough/controversial goaltending decision heading into the playoffs.

Elliott has never gone in as a starter, only started once Halak was hurt

Hey we can just blame injuries and re-hire Hitch and try this again next year right.... RIGHT!?

Elliott: injured
Allen: injured
Bishop: not injured.

You do the math. It ain't rocket appliances

Bishop has already missed one year of playoffs from injury. If he was still here the Hockey Gods would have finished him off as well.

2012-2013 disagrees with you.

But Steen's second goal of the game, a shorthanded tally in overtime, gave the Blues a 2-1 victory in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Tuesday at Scottrade Center.

...

Brian Elliott continued his winning ways this month with 28 saves as the Blues had dropped three straight overtime playoff games dating back to May 16, 2001 -- Scott Young’s double-overtime winner against the Colorado Avalanche.

So what you're saying is that all along, goaltending really has been the primary issue with this team? :sarcasm:
