Former Cheesehead, Always a Preds Fan
Oooh, I get to do my little figurin' on here for this one!
I have been tracking our 1st round pick from last year through the entire season, totaling up his shifts, minutes, etc. on a game-by-game basis and using my Three Star Points guide as a way of measuring individual game performance.
Keep in mind: if a player just shows up and plays for 25-30 shifts a night, they'll average a 3SP total around 8-10. Totals around 14 are where a player is routinely getting consideration for one of the three stars of the game. 20 basically gives him #1 star of the game (unless the game is away from the Bridge).
So, here's the averages of his game-by-game 3SP totals, by 10-game blocks:
1-10: 13.30
11-20: 9.73
21-30: 9.07
31-40: 7.97
41-50: 8.13
51-60: 9.07
61-70: 7.87
Last 10 (63-72): 7.67
Season: 9.21
That blip at the 51-60 mark is because of the fantastic end of January that he had on the Preds' west coast swing.
