OT: Edmonton out door rinks and shinny

Hey guys, this is early, but I wanted to find a really good out door rink that had a good pick up game of shinny going on once or twice a week. any one know of any. The more Central the better.

Moved from Edmonton to BC when I was younger... the outdoor rink pick-up game is the piece of Edmonton my heart misses the most.

I grew up in the Killarney area, and you could find a sweet, highly skilled pick-up game very night at any of the five or six rinks that were within a radius of four blocks of each other. Fans of other teams (and people in general, I suppose) **** on Edmonton for not being a glamorous free agent destination, but very cities (if any) could replicate Edmontonions love for shinny.It's probably how Anaheim or Phoenix kids felt growing up around baseball diamonds, I suppose.

I can't wait to get that coughing up blood feeling that comes for the first couple shinny games when you try harder than you should. Anybody else?? I run and am relatively fit but I always go full out in shinny when I should ease myself in more.
