The key to the game appeared to be defense and intimidation last night in Edmonton. Ryan Malone and Paul Mara skated around all night hitting everything in sight, while Barret Jackman and Martin Havlat found less legal ways to take out their aggression.

Barret Jackman got a rare kicking penalty in the 1st period, and then late in the game, Havlat got a Double Minor elbowing penalty.

Wild players pleaded with the refs to call a tighter game, but apparently they forgot their glasses and the home team took advantage.

Oh, and there was some scoring too....
