Islanders showing a bit more life which was to be expected. Rask looking good, Varlamov is definitely better than Sorokin. Coyle playing really well. Would be great if we can cut the number of shifts we’re trapped in our zone. Come out strong in the second and get a couple more!

Great 1st period from the B's. I would like to see them play more in the offensive zone though. NYI's first line has come to play. Bruins need to find a way to limit their space on the ice.

I’m definitely worried about the bottom 6 getting constantly pinned in their own zone. Almost always starts with an unnecessary turnover.

Bruins clearly have more talent overall.

Honestly, I don’t think the Isles can beat us. The only way we lose this series is if we beat ourselves. Not trying to be arrogant but it seems that they have to play perfect to beat us.

Coyle line needs to get better at breaking the puck out, Kuhlman especially. He’s panicking every time he gets the chance to get it out and either whiffing on the chip out or sending it too soft that the Dman is able to knock it down.

Gotta figure it out.
