Super happy with that win. Bs were in domination mode. If the Bs were a little sharper with their shots early on this game would have been an absolute blowout. McAvoy was a beast, but so were Reilly, Gryz, and Cliffy, despite a few mistakes. Pasta looks like the all-star stud he is. Krejci was awesome. 4th line played hard. 3rd line was kind of yuck. First and second lines are going to carry the team this series. Isles cannot deal with those 6. Not enough high-end talent. Oh, and the crowd was a great thing to see and hear. Very happy the fans are back in force. Get well Smitty!

PS -- Pierre, sorry about your boy. He's not that spectacular.

We've seen this team put their best foot forward in a series to start and then let off a bit. Not every series can be a sweep but if they bring this compete level I don't see this Islander team sticking with them in a BO7.


If the Bruins are going to go home for the postseason, it better not be to this team.

It sure is nice watching the Bruins dominate, not once in this game did I feel anxious or concerned about their play. Win on Monday and take complete control of this series.

Such a feel good Saturday night for the city. I am overjoyed for the team and all 17000 people in the building tonight.

Fun game to watch. Bruins may have had better teams, but I can't really remember the last time they had five elite hockey minds playing in their top six. That play by Hall, to crash the net/throw a pick/take two guys with him so Pasta could get the shot was amazing....and Pasta, to sense/know EXACTLY what Hall was going to do, cutting across ice to let Hall work his magic was equally amazing....Savants for real.
