I think the culture changes if you replace Mika and Trouba with legitimate replacements.

Problem is, that’s not gonna happen.
Yep. He was a no show basically the entire regular season. Most of his points came from the team force feeding him shots on the PP. He's a glorified specialist at this point and a headcase at that.

I’ve seen enough of everyone associated with this era of Rangers hockey. Tear it all down and start over with stars who will show up in the playoffs.
We lack intensity. That's the word I've been looking for this whole time. Look at our leaders. 93? No intensity. 20? I don't know where his went; he looks more like the jovial uncle now. 8? Your community contributions are appreciated, but a leader also needs to lead by example. This is not the right core. And if you're getting rid of the core, you might as well get rid of the ancillary pieces too. So, as you said, tear it down.

Lavi lost this team somewhere in this series.

I’m seeing a total lack of confidence and puck support in the offensive zone.

They face adversity and crumble. It’s the devils series all over again.
So it took less than 1 season for the core to tune out the coach. If this is the case, this is very concerning. Break up the core. The core is not coachable. Mentally weak and cracks under pressure

More balanced at forward, at least.

Wennberg, Kakko, Cuylle, Vesey, Goodrow aren't enough of a threat to score for this team to have good offensive balance.
We have Kreider, Zibanejad, Panarin, Trocheck, and Laf.

Cuylle scored at a halfway decent 5v5 rate for his minutes and has potential.

Roslovic, I wouldn't play on Hartford. Put him in a boat and sink the f***er.

Everyone else is an honest to God 4th liner. Too much dreck in the lineup.

People will only want to talk about #TheCore but the five guys I mentioned have 13 of 16 goals in this series.

I'm open to moving one of them if it's necessary to round things out, but blowing them up isn't it. The top guys are really not the problem here.

We won seven in a row with Zibanejad and Trocheck on a 2PPG pace. That wasn't lasting. Nobody is giving you that outside of the two f***s on Edmonton.

This is the most New York Rangers shit I've ever seen

Go 7-0 to start the playoffs only to blow a 3-0 lead in the second round against a team of neanderthals that shoot the puck from behind their own net.

Even if they win game 7, what an absolutely embarrassing black mark for this franchise
If they win game 7 I will forgive and forget

They’ve lost all confidence and they don’t have the fight in them to get past it. I don’t see them pulling through this to win the series.

"If you told me in September we'd be forcing a game 7 against the second best team in the league, I'd be pretty happy!" - Chris Kreider in an hour
Hopefully that’s Drury motivation to trade his useless ass in the offseason. Sell high, will be nice to have Laf on the PP1 next season.

Put Quick in to get em going, give Igor the rest and don't shatter his confidence even more if Carolina keeps converting.

Mix up the 1st and 3rd lines, can't hurt.
Agreed. Have to put Quick in. Not blaming Igor we just can't have them put up any more on Igor.

The Rangers are corporate philanthropists masquerading as hockey players.

I can't get over the luck and timing on that Martinook play. He dove like 15 feet out and just stayed slowly sliding the entire way to the net. Feels like that was probably a stupid thing to do and yet it worked out to the millimeter lol. I'd also like to see the overhead shot of that. Surprised there was virtually no break to look closer.
