On the replay he skates up to him, the Ranger defender places the tip of his blade up against him and just puts pressure on it. Nothing really big, no jabbing motion, but I can see why he'd be pissed.

The PP dumpin was explicitly the change/prescout that led to such success in the first few games. Carolina is very tough on PP entries and NYR switching to dump ins right off the bat led to the crazy PP conversion rate. It was a very good strategy.

Canes are so good at generating quality chances off the rush, unfortunately for them they severely lack actual snipers.
