Bruins are no match for Florida the way we are built. We knew that coming in.

But for Monty to just sit there after these last two games and not cause a big stink about the league and the officiating is some real loser shit.

He’s far too soft. Need someone who will stick up for his guys.

Challenge Initiated By: Boston

Type of Challenge: Goaltender Interference

Result: Original call is confirmed – Goal Florida

Explanation: Video review supported the Referees’ call on the ice that that the shove by Florida’s Sam Bennett on Charlie Coyle and the subsequent contact with Jeremy Swayman did not prevent Swayman from playing his position in the crease prior to Bennett’s goal.

Penalty:
2:00 minor penalty: Delay of Game – Unsuccessful Challenge

Something extremely questionable. More by the hour it seems.

Lauko penalty.
Bennet non suspension.
Bennett goal sequence.

The number of other standards shifting Florida's way.

Don’t attribute to malice what is easily shown as incompetence, the refs are just bad at their job and the league accepts their performance level. There may be some inherent bias on some individual refs and players but in the end they are just smoothbrain morons not tactical masterminds.

Considering they went all in last year so much they killed their cap space for this year, and only had enough space to sign retreads like Shattenkirik, JVR, Heinen, etc it’s a lot to expect them to make the conference finals. That all those signings actually worked out is either credit to the coaches or dumb luck, most of us thought we were toast at that point and here we are in the 2nd round instead.

I’m really trying to keep all that in perspective. I wanted more though.

But the league directly made two decisions. Directing officials on how to referee a series is one thing. They personally made two specific decisions from 1,200 miles away that influenced the outcome of this series. And no one in hockey media will challenge it. Bunch of boot lickers that they are.
