Bruins have some big players. Maroon is the only big guy with that crazy look in his eye. If a team wants these types they have to draft them when they are available. There are 2 types of players. Regular season and playoff. Got to have the grit and sandpaper or you won't go too far when it means something.

You'd think that having won a cup with a grit and sandpaper lineup, they would have stuck with that same roadmap. Look at the historical cup winners and none of them did it based on talent alone.

This team needs to bring back Bertuzzi in the off-season, amongst other moves.

Hopefully they simplify their game. Tired of these spinorama no look passes, 3 drop passes before they leave their zone, wingers out by the red line before the puck clears our zone and trying to deke through their team at their blue line.

We have the skill to win games however it's our hockey IQ that lets us down.

You’re exactly right about being out by the red line, etc. And when they catch passes, they are flat footed and standing still. It never turns into odd man rush, even though it appears it could. Guys with speed with back pressure. The whole thing is a mess.

I desperately want a victory or at least a reason for hope. That won’t happen because we become the Hansen brothers reincarnate. Sure I’d like the guys to play tough but more importantly play the best hockey we can. Fix the breakouts. Solve the cycle, play layered defense and then get pucks to the net in and through traffic.

We can win but not if we are focused on revenge.

Bert was a crazy bugger in junior. Guys like him and Marchy march to the beat of there own drum. They play on the edge or over it. Every playoff series this year is rough as hell. You really have to have a combo of skill and grit to get through and come out the other side.

The NHL is loving it. Somehow they have spun a wild underdog, lovable narrative of Matt Tkachuk who is one of the more pathetic players in some time.

At least rally behind Brady who hits through the body and fights...



Maroon on the ice to end game 3, handed some mild crosschecks out but clearly afraid to be suspended for instigator in the final 5 minutes... but that could have served the Bruins better than his play if he executed correctly.

Dirty looks and chirping. Not a recipe to strike fear into the hearts of opponents..
