He pushed him pretty hard from behind, could have been considered a cross check. I doubt that Coyle intentionally dove to take out his own goalie and then leave a wide open net.

The cross check was very light, in my opinion. It wasn’t hard enough to topple a player. He fell hoping to get the call. Too bad.

It’s 3-2 already. The Bs aren’t winning the series. And it won’t be because of this call.

So, a weaker crosscheck at center ice was enough to give the Rangers a PP in OT, but knocking a defenseman into his goalie in the crease “isn’t enough to affect the play”. Also, “we are concentrating on crosschecks”.
