The Big Smoke (unfortunately)
Does anyone else cringe and pinch the quarter whenever Chara plays the puck/ steps on the ice?
He should hit more rather than get hit. Tons of times against the boards he has the puck and they get it off him. If they have they puck against the boards, just ******* drill them.

Bruins looked awfully tired half-way through that 2nd period, a lot of mental mistakes. They've played a lot of Hockey in the last 18 days. Hopefully they can head to Columbus up 2-0 and be able to enjoy that much needed extra day off either way.

After seeing that replay, I saw what Coyle was thinking.

Gryz was in front of the net last Coyle saw, so Coyle assumed Gryz was going to jump into the rush and Coyle would stay as the last guy back.

Gryz instead went into a defensive posture, giving Coyle an outlet behind the net.

2 things went wrong here.

Gryz should have been where Coyle passed. Coyle didn't have pressure on him, he didn't need the safety valve behind the net. Gryz stays in front of the net, starts skating when Coyle safely has the puck, and it hits him on the tape and they are leaving the zone with pace.

2nd thing wrong, Coyle didn't look first before passing. Those no look plays work great and throw off the defense, but you cant do that through your own slot.
