Much better match-up than the Leafs.

Going to be a long physical series. Rangers needs to find some toughness. They can't let the Bruins do what Ovechkin was doing tonight.

Look at the Rangers record over the last 4 years. We play them very well and have a lot of success against that team.

going to be a hell of a series

I'll look over the stats, everything in a bit.

Bruins have a solid team. Solid goaltending, deep defense, good crew of physical forwards.

We will also see a Jagr return to MSG.

Lundqvist has been acceptable in goals the last couple of games, but he'll need to get better (I'm speaking on behalf of Lundqvist because that's his usual answer no matter what happens). On the down side, Lunqvist's slap shot has really not helped us on the power play. I blame him for 2-for-27 on PP. If he can score a couple of hat tricks, we will beat Da Bears.

They have a very balanced offense. Will be interesting to see if our defensive depth is gonna come through.
Rangers have higher top end talent on O, but not as much scoring depth.
Bruins have higher top end talent on D, but not as much depth.
Rangers have better goaltending.
Special teams are nothing to brag about for either team.
Bruins are tougher, we could use Clowe.

It's gonna be one helluva series. Split the first two and I think we can do this. LGR!

120 minutes of shutout hockey in two elimination games, no big deal. Best goalie in the world!
