well this is how game 5 went to this point and the bruins nearly took that one ass backwards

D is doing a decent job, I’m loving Lorhei’s play relative to his experience

Offense generated some chances but sticks too tight and need to do way more work below the goal lines and keep a guy just a few feet off the crease, not right in it and not too high out because Toronto is doing a good job tying up sticks

Just there and force them to potentially take a penalty or cause some chaos and then have a guy that was below the goal line circle out and grind for rebounds

After having a 2-shot 1st period in Game 5, only to top yourself with a 1-shot 1st period in Game 6, against the Toronto Maple Leafs no less, is truly historic.

David Ayres could win this game for the Leafs if it keeps going this way.

The forwards are just too slow as a group and the Leafs D have this figured out and are just sitting back playing conservative forcing the Bruins forwards to beat them with speed that they don't have, standing them up in the mid-to-high slot, same thing Florida D did last year.
