my mom snorted at me when i said i was gonna co-opt their tv to watch for a little while and asked shouldn't i be taking a break from hockey and i told her it helps me feel a bit more grounded

i love 'em, and i'm really glad they've come around to taking this seriously, but if the three of us are our only company, i will legit lose my mind. my gym has set up livestreaming, but it's really small so that's 1-2 times a week several of my friends are contending with new/new-ish babies and/or other factors that have them even less online than usual, so my distance socializing pickings are pretty slim at the moment.

now, i'm an introvert, so *mostly* this isn't too far off business as usual, but it's enough of a change in a fairly short time to throw me off, especially with effectively moving back in with my folks for a good two weeks
