That Leaf team cannot kick it to the next gear. They can’t. This should have been their best game of the series and they couldn’t dig down and deliver. Bruins smothered them in their own zone and the Leafs own defensive coverage wasn’t good. Bruins will close it out Tuesday. This isn’t last year. PK was excellent for the Bruins too, especially in the 1st. Once again also Marchand put the team on his back and got it done in so many ways.

Easily their best game of the series and it ain’t even close. Scoring chances against were way down. They didn’t get pressured into making stupid defensive turnovers and they absolutely owned the neutral zone. Seriously, every rush up ice they made the neutral zone look like a football field. So much room.
