Outside of Detroit who obviously didn't make it, I wish we had drawn the Islanders in this round.

Shitty special teams, inability to hold leads and a shockingly hilarious unwillingness to engage physically at all? Would have been a f***ing cake walk.

I don't think Washington is good but they're not going to roll over like the NYI and will resort to goon tactics. They already tried last game and weren't too happy when the Rangers punched back.
Isles might have played better against us but you could be right - they’re prone to lose leads the whole season and Sorokin has been bad for awhile too. Other things could have been different but these two would be constant.

This isn't necessarily true.

If they get a guy back who is trying to gut it out and isn't really ready he may actually be worse than what they're already throwing out there.

If it's Sandin, they just got worse defensively.
Agreed. It took a while for Fox and Trouba to shake off the rust.

Jensen and Sandin are fine players but they are bottom half of the lineup players. They are better than the AHL defenseman that have been playing for them but this is still a team that finished the season with a -40 goal diff. They arent going to miraculously turned into the Jacques Lemaire devils overnight.

Biggest game of the season. This will determine the rest of the playoffs for this team.

They either come out angry and run all over the Caps or they show they haven't learned a thing from the previous two seasons and they're a bunch of brick headed idiots with no guts.

If Washington wins tonight, the Rangers season is over. Book it.

No excuses. FLA and CAR are sweeping their series.

Lemu?
Come out angry?

The Rangers will need to weather the storm. Caps are at home. Lots of energy in the arena. Get through the first 10 minutes 0-0 and all is good.

Expecting the Rangers to come out and dominate... it's kind of unrealistic.

I think game 2 is the most important non elimination game in any given series but what can you do.

These idiots actually used AI art on their social media. Incompetent.

Anyway, LGR.

Weather the storm. Hopefully Wilson understands that taking a penalty means death and he's on good behavior.

As a Caps fan, I gotta ask...are you okay? Losing one game in the first round would mean they're out of the playoffs? There's some serious trauma behind that prediction lol

For anyone that has had to study statistics:

Rempe was a late season call up. Lafreniere finished the season strong. These are both true but there is nothing to suggest they are related.

Someone needs to post Laf's shooting percentage before the stadium series and then after.

That will give everyone the answer they need.
