Yeah, but first game of the playoffs... pretty shrewd adjustment by Sullivan.

i mean on an nhl coach scale that's great timing. bylsma would have never got there. johnston, maybe in a few games

I don't want to make light of an eye injury here.. but I think Lundqvist tried to buy a call there.. felt the stick and made a show of it.. when it was his own player.. i mean come on.

That's exactly it. He's an over-dramatic Diva. If I thought he was actually hurt I won't laugh at him. Acts like someone ripped his eyeball out then got a few drops and went back in.

Sheary's performance right now is the type of performance that gets Sid going.

TBH i would probably freak out like Lundqvist getting hit in the eye, but are they allowed to delay a game THAT long? put your backup in net and go get Lundqvist checked out. He can come back for the 2nd period.

Z looking good, that's should be music to the teams ears. Start playing fast and relentless, don't try to hold a lead.

Pens are usually good in the 2nd periods, so I'd like to see the Pens up 3-1 or 4-1 after this period. Let's cruise out of here and keep it easy.

I don't think it was a permanent juggle. I think he sees Sheary as a 11-12 minute guy playing on a fourth line, so he gets some random shifts with Sid. I also think he'd like to avoid giving Kunitz over 16 minutes.

maybe if Malkin, Murray and Fluery all hump the ice for 15 seconds it will heal them like it did Lundy ?

Rollout the softest red carpet for Her Majesty Queen Henrietta the 1st.

She can have some tea with our own Cindy Crysby.

Thats the thing Sheary and Kunitz's ice time right now should be reversed.
Also get Hags out there as much as you can too.
These are the guys making things happen.

One thing about Sheary that I really like is his stick handling.

and the fact that he appears to play very well against the Rangers

As someone who actually said right away, that Lundqvist better be fine, I just want to say: Get ****ing lost, Leafs fans!!!

BTW: I love reading the Canes board, because the are hilarious and great entertainment and what do you know, they are also way more chill about their Kings 1st round pick than Leafs fans are about ours.

tl;dr: Lets trade more with the Canes. I like them. They are great.

Kunitz is just murdering play. Sheary on Sid's LW would be just what we need.

He won't make the switch permanent in this game. As I keep saying, it was more about trying to get Sheary about 4 minutes a period and to limit Kunitz.

I'll be happy to be wrong, but I don't think so, unfortunately . . .

Damn last thread closed as I typed... The jist of what I was saying is that getting hit in the eye is no laughing matter and regardless of teams he deserves more respect on that play then is being shown in here.

Of course Rangers fans crying about the booing. But when you yank a goalie you don't even get a fraction of that time. They were classy until he started staaling.
